How often does the HumidX/HumidX Plus need to be replaced?

The HumidX/HumidX Plus heat-moisture exchanger must be replaced 30 days after opening the packaging. Even if the HumidX/HumidX Plus was not used every day during the 30 day period, it still must be replaced.
