SmartStart is enabled, but the device does not automatically stop when the patient removes their mask
AirSense 10, AirStart, AirCurve, Lumis
Possible Cause:- Incompatible mask being used.
Solution:
- Only use masks recommended by ResMed
- Contact your care provider for more information
- If the patient is using a nasal pillows mask with set pressure less than 7 cm H2O (7 hPa), SmartStart will not work and should be disabled
