What is ActiveAir?

ActiveAir, ResMed's innovative mask vent, uses a silicone membrane to regulate vent flow at all treatment pressures. Traditional mask vents cater to higher therapy pressures by increasing total flow through the system. ActiveAir features a silicone element that flexes with increases in treatment pressure, limiting and maintaining vent flow necessary to wash out carbon dioxide (CO2). ActiveAir enables the AirMini to be quite small while maintaining ResMed’s high standards for effective therapy.
