What are the differences and similarities between the AirStart™ 10 APAP algorithm and the AirSense™ 10 AutoSet algorithm?

The AirStart™ 10 APAP algorithm cannot differentiate between obstructive and central apneas. It scores all apnea events as obstructive and will respond to all apneas (except unknowns) as it assume everything is obstructive. Also, AirStart™ 10 APAP only treats apneas to 10cm H2O where the AirSense™ 10 AutoSet algorithm can treat apneas up to 20cm H2O.Both the AirStart™ 10 APAP and the AirSense™ 10 AutoSet algorithms treat flow limitation and snore up to 20cm H2O.
