I have installed the latest version of Java but I am still getting a message to upgrade to the latest version of Java. Why?

This issue only occurs when you are upgrading the Java version from 1.6.0 to the latest version. You will need to manually uninstall the version 1.6.0 before installing the latest version of Java.
