How hot does the bottom of the humidifier get after use? Do patients need to protect surfaces?

The heat under the H5i is equivalent to under the H4i, no more than around 60 degrees C, so the same advice as for H4i applies. Most household surfaces are fine. Sensitive surfaces such as wax polished timber should be protected.
