How does ActiveAir improve breathing comfort?

In order to deliver greater breathing comfort to patients, we need to offer them micro humidification that works with our system. In order for micro humidification to work, the HMX *must* be located between the patient and the vent (otherwise no moisture will be captured). In order to deliver an HMX in this location, we needed to relocate the mask vent down into the tubing. If a traditional mask is attached to the new vented tube, the system would now have two vents and consequently deliver improper therapy. Hence, we needed to ensure only masks designed with this type of venting in mind are used together with AirMini.
