The 2017 AASM HSAT 2.4 Scoring Rules recommend reporting REI as a surrogate for AHI for HSAT devices. The AirView diagnostic software currently reports AHI only but an update is coming in October that will show both REI and AHI. In the meantime, AASM recommends that notes are included in the comments section that says AHI is equal to REI or AHI is a surrogate for REI.
