Personal Therapy Assistant and Test Drive in myAir™

Whether set up remotely or in-person, Personal Therapy Assistant provides an interactive experience designed to help your customers start therapy with confidence and self-resolve common therapy issues. Available through ResMed’s patient engagement app, myAir™ ≠, Personal Therapy Assistant offers voice-guided video setup instructions and Test Drive, a therapy acclimation tool designed to help users become more comfortable with using their AirSense 11 device. Empowering users to self-resolve common therapy issues may improve compliance and save you time with fewer troubleshooting calls and mask refits.

Care Check-In

Support with starting CPAP therapy is built into ResMed AirSense™ 11 with the Care Check-In feature.

Time-based check-in questions are asked throughout the first 28 days of therapy, either through the myAir app‡ or directly on the device. Check-in questions are also asked every 6 months post-purchase. This provides users with an opportunity to provide feedback about their therapy progression. The Care Check-In responses deliver tailored coaching advice and support, encouraging users to stay on therapy and troubleshoot common therapy issues.

If users choose to opt in, data from their responses will be available to view in AirView™,* providing you with a deeper understanding of their therapy progress and an opportunity to address issues early in their therapy journey.

Clinically proven algorithms2-4

AirSense 11 includes both the AutoSet and AutoSet for Her algorithms, which are among the most clinically published in the field of sleep-disordered breathing. It works to automatically adjust to each customer's therapy pressure as their needs change – hourly, nightly and from season to season – to deliver the customer’s ideal lowest therapy pressure.

Key features

  • Easy-to-use touchscreen makes navigating settings simple and intuitive.
  • Advanced event detection identifies central sleep apnea, respiratory effort–related arousal and Cheyne-Stokes respiration events to provide you with valuable insight into the continued health of your customers.
  • Using AirView, you can access nightly therapy data, troubleshoot (using the Remote Assist feature) and change device settings remotely. If users opt-in, data from their Care Check-In responses will be available in AirView, which can provide a deeper understanding of therapy progress.
  • AutoRamp™ with sleep onset detection delivers a low pressure to help users fall asleep with ease. Once the customer is asleep, it comfortably ramps up the pressure to the prescribed level.
  • Expiratory pressure relief (EPR™) maintains the optimal treatment for the customer during inhalation and reduces pressure during exhalation.
  • AutoSet Response± comfort setting offers gentler pressure increases and a smoother night’s sleep to help customers with high-pressure intolerance.
  • Integrated heated humidifier can be controlled manually or automatically with the Climate Control feature.
  • Built-in ambient light sensor adjusts the brightness of the screen based on the light in the room and turns off automatically.
